I feel like the optimum level of legal gun ownership in a society is either 100% or 0%.
Either you take away everyone's guns so at most a person can pull some pussy knife attack shit like this and get shot by the authorities, or you let everyone have guns so anyone who opens fire in the middle of church gets shot in the face by the pastor.
Everyone should have to cast a vote by shooting a designated target with markings for all the candidates. You miss, your vote goes to the wrong guy and/or isn’t counted at all.

Pinging being protected speech has long since been estabilished, as it has undeniable artistic merit. The only time it's been included under any obscenity laws is when someone is being charged with possession of harassment, so the state can slap them with more charges. The courts have been very careful to not charge anyone for pinging, because they'd get their asses fucking annihilated by a higher court due to the firm precedence of pinging being completely legal speech. /r/Drama had nothing to worry about, this guy was just making shit up to fool people into thinking his censoring wasn't entirely personally motivated.
