I can only confidently guarantee that the prostitute you end up making tender love to (lol) will shower longer than she usually does after your 5 shameful minutes of disappointing her
I just cannot imagine dating someone who invalidates their existence.
This is not a new statement, but what the fuck does this even mean? Are they misinterpreting demeaning with invalidating? A person is not a concept, and ridiculing a person doesn't erase them from existence, they do that themselves when they snuicnide
You have some pretty good questions there, I'm not sure that they can be answered though.
Let me offer a different line of thinking, one that I have taken on in the past couple weeks:
Transgender folks are a disenfranchised minority in our society - we unfortunately have many disenfranchised minorities - pick your flavor:
We've got black, hispanic, poor white, women, the rainbow people... On and on and on it goes, there's one you don't think about often though:
Midgets.
We really do next to nothing to help midgets, as Mark Normand pointed out recently, which brought this idea back to the forefront of my mind.
So this gal in the other thread, the original poster, she did just about the same thing as leaving her partner because they said disparaging remarks about midgets.
Bit strange don't you think? People break up for any number of reasons, name one and there's probably an example - but search your mind and ask, would anyone who is not a midget leave a relationship because somebody disparaged midgets?
My Wikipedia researched degree in psychoanalysis tells me this:
She is making an excuse for leaving the relationship, and would have done so with or without this catalyst of her partner disparaging trans folks.
Ergo, the questions you ask have no answer, because they are not actual genuine intellectually honest questions being asked by the original poster - they cannot be answered by anyone, even her.
She created a thread because she needed to feel as if she had the high ground after ending a relationship. A rather typical behavior of the recently heartbroken.
Relationships don't end on their own, I know the Drama subreddit probably is not full of Casanova figures, but I assume most of you have been in at least one relationship, and know it takes two to tango.
Well reasoned I'd say, do you agree with the assessment?

This is just another example of why the L needs to be removed from LGBT. Plugging /r/GBTDroptheL

You're a sentient lil' fucker aren't ya.
Since you asked, I am in the works of securing a DJ residency and plan to start busking downtown as soon as I have the currency to buy a sax.
