I don't follow the capeshit so I had no idea this was even a thing, but did the producers see the name "Black Canary" and just automatically think it was a chocolate american?
That film is going to be insufferable. I saw a trailer for it and nearly walked out of the theater rather than have to watch any more of it. I keep telling myself "show up no fewer than 20 minutes into the runtime", but that fights my natural instinct to be punctual.
