Radicalizing subs is literally the entire point of quarantining them. Fewer normies go there and thus the resident rightoids of those subs aren't as drowned out. They get louder and more residual normies leave. Eventually the subs become far-right circlejerks, so reddit can ban them and go "See? Look at how that entire sub is Nazis!" Cringeanarchy was a prime example of that, it went from a cringe sub to an edgy racist political sub, and that was amplified 10x when the quarantine hit. When the sub died it was pretty much literally a neo-Nazi sub, and I'm not the type to call people Nazis.
