I always wanted a dog but never had one when I was a kid. I have a cat who is low maintenance but no really rewarding emotionaly. He is just here for food and the warm.

No way I'm buying a doggy in a pet store lot of fluffers are being abandoned on a highway just before the holidays start. It's sad 😔

Anyway there is this French NGO who rescue the doggorinos pupperinos, it's called the SPA (Société Protectrice des Animaux), The Animal Defense Force

Pepper is a border collie in all its splendor. She is nice but very nervous. She is a very human-oriented dog who must be well stimulated and spent other than in a garden. She is reactive with other dogs and people she meets. We will avoid children and cats. Connoisseurs of the breed would be preferable.

She is cute AF. "reactive" means "bites the fuck out of". Border Collies are way more biting than pitbulls. They just put a bunch of holes in everyone instead of killing them so they don't get the glamour points. They need the most daily exercise out of any dog breed.

Get her out on the farm biting the fuck out of sheep and cows and she's doing what she loves. If you are going to get a border collie and you dont have livestock to herd get it a grip of frisbees. They have the best wheels and leaps. Whenever you see a frisbee-dog halftime show it is all border collies. They are so quick and voracious they make it look easy.

I'm a dog psychologist as much as any of those quacks. I've grown up around dogs and trained dozens of them of all different breeds. If a shelter is telling you that some dog actually has psychological issues or needs special care or shouldn't be around other dogs or children or people in general then that means that dog is really fucked up. If it is your first dog you should not get one of these dogs because you won't be able to recognize the little tics in it's behavior that mean that it is about to bite the fuck out of someone. If you look a little closely at how half the dogs on this webpage are pitbulls (whether they say they are pitbulls or not lmao) they all have short hair and you can see all the scars all over their faces that aren't even healed yet. That means they were all used for dogfighting by some niggers (or spics or arabs or white trash garbage people or whatever). You've never lived around dogs so you won't notice the subtle changes in behavior that mean that they are about to fuck someone up and check the dog in time to stop it. ie. you will be one of those "bad owners" that they complain about.

in the description they have all special needs... I grew up with some German shepherds (from the neighbor) who were pretty cool but I'm also scared of impredictable dogs. I met some crazy ones, who were mutts or degenerate by over breeding.

Tbh i couldn't handle an alpha male big dog and the females seems more laid-back (but maybe need more care?)

Anyway i will drive to the closest one and see for myself what type of weirdos they have

They werent mutts or overbred, they just weren't given the work that they were bred to do so they were wild and unstable. Females are indeed more laid back but they are also more protective. Males are filled with testosterone and wild and aggressive. Any of those working dogs like German Shepherds or Border Collies or Aussie Heelers or Cattle Dogs will need tons of exercise. If you are getting any sort of medium or large sized dog it will need lots of exercise so if you aren't prepared to take it out for an hour or two every day don't get one. Pitbulls are actually chiller and lazier than most of those shepherd dogs but when a pitbull does decide to fuck something up it can do major damage.
