I just cannot fathom why there are $3,000 worth of checks and permits. Fuck man, if it actually costs that to run the inspections, like on the 1% chance that it's actually like not a cash grab by the municipality, we should subsidize that kind of stuff.
Imagine this country if everyone could start some sort of tiny enterprise.
Lowering the barriers to entry for small enterprises I think would have even better benefits for our society than good ideas like making post secondary education "free" and other ideas like Medicaid for all. Preferably, we would do all this shit.
