ME was always like this. I read a book about the history of M.E. and it spinned my head with all of the conflicts and bloodshed and civil wars et cetera et cetera... It's like the r/Drama of world.
Since the fertile crescent is essentially the start of what can be should be considered modern humanity. It stands to reason that they'd all be bickering over stupid shit all this time.
Plus, no one seems to understand god/ess/plural, yet everybody seems to want to fight over it.
you should read Seven Pillars of Wisdom by T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia). He talks a lot about how much those tribal fuckers all hate each other and will never get along no matter what border you draw or government you establish there. Dude was based
Btw most of the social media (Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Eksi Sozluk etc.) are either down or very slow in Turkey rn. Whenever something bad happens the government interferes with the internet to delay its spreading, so English speaking Turks are talking about this in r/Turkey, there are lots of drama there too but most of it in Turkish smh
Drama posting as a whole rots your brain, the sub is easily one of the most transphobic subreddits filled with Enlightened centrists and alt-light trolls, the mod team is a bunch of weirdo nominally left succdems who post on Stupidpol about how they're the bastion of left thought.
One of them made a post about how they used to be a SJW but alienated all their friends and family and now decries idpol, when in reality they're probably just insufferable to be around
lol online Turkish nationalists are such a pain in the ass that the mods put the entire sub on defcon 1. those poor mods have a week of hell ahead of them.

Is there a more drama filled region than the middle East?

It's a barren desert wasteland where life struggles to survive. Retards have been fighting over it for milenia because of mesionic fan fiction

The Golden rule of conflicts....the shittier the strip of land, the harder people fight over it.
Just look at the EritreanāEthiopian War. Or anything going on in Chad.
It's fucking bizarre.

If you think about it, it makes sense.
