Later I tried to appeal my ban. After three days of no response I sent them a second message "Hi, can I get some response to my modmail pls?" another week later still with not even a beep from their mod team I decided to ask if their mod mail is overflowing or what's the issue. I was told that transphobia is a very serious issue, i was unbanned and, let me quote this gem "I would like to remind you that you are in no way entitled to a response from us, and your messages acting like you are entitled to a response are not appreciated".

I read all of it but I’m still not sure what everyone is arguing about. As far as I can tell one is saying it’s homophobic to be g_ay, and another is saying being g_ay and accusing someone of being homophobic is in itself homophobic.
The (totally unbiased) way I've made sense of this is that it's a woke ouroboros type of situation between people who came up with a genuinely good way to combat homophobes, and people with a victim complex who want to be taken seriously literally at all times.
