Can you at least link the comments for phonecels? I refuse to get back on my comp after 8 hours of working, and potentially risking my hidden spectrum to my bossoverlords-san.
If you support free speech, you must support people pinging other users. It's completely legal speech. If you won't defend pinging as free speech because you or someone else finds it disgusting, then no speech that you or anyone else views as disgusting is safe.
>if it is in fact on shaky legal ground it's reasonable to not want to be the case that establishes it as illegal.
It's not, The reddit admins are straight up lying to the ignorant (like yourself) to justify their prejudice. Pinging being protected speech has long since been estabilished, as it has undeniable artistic merit. The only time it's been included under any obscenity laws is when someone is being charged with possession of harassment, so the state can slap them with more charges. The courts have been very careful to not charge anyone for pinging, because they'd get their asses fucking annihilated by a higher court due to the firm precedence of pinging being completely legal speech. /r/Drama had nothing to worry about, this guy was just making shit up to fool people into thinking his censoring wasn't entirely personally motivated.
Also, before I exceed my allowed limit of music posting and get banned, this will be something good to enjoy tomorrow in the only real time zone at 4 pm.
Featuring a great story and the best blues and perhaps best guitarist overall playing live.
I find it difficult to listen to Stevie for any real length of time. He was an amazing technical player, but his soloing and jamming are pretty derivative; you definitely hear him returning to the same well over and over. Like yeah, he’s a great player who was effortless and fast, but he was never very interesting.
This is all exacerbated further by the fact that he was a blues man, a genre not at all known for its variety.
To be fair, no matter how fast or skilled a player is, there's a limitation on how many combinations there are within keys and chord arrangements on a limited string instrument, such as a 6 string guitar.
That's one of the reasons why I like piano the most out of all musical instruments. But they all have their place.
And to say that blues is "genre not at all known for its variety" is wildly inaccurate. It's a foundation of most modern popular music and there have been artists that were and are world famous for it spanning a long time and of kinds of people and a lot of differences.
I disagree with that. Listening to a lot of free form jazz and jam band stuff, not to mention playing it, there’s a lot you can do. Stuff bound to a specific progression is inherently more constrained than jams that venture into unknown territories, but even within the former Stevie was uninspired.
As for your last paragraph, I fail to see how that contradicts my statement.

I don't think I can do that. That's what you get for not using a real computer.
Plus, I use premium youtube and unusual versions of Android and ChromiumOS, so, I can't help. Sorry.
I recommend using a high end computer, such as a Chromebook.

The last time one of our esteemed moderators banned me for posting too much music over too short of a time frame.

Castles made of sand is his best cover. I got it down on acoustic at one point.
Just been playing tangled up in blue and realized it’s basically the same melody as Only wanna be with you, and hoody pays tribute in the lyrics lol

Great cover and ya only Bobby can hit a home run with a shot voice when he’s 70s. Heard a few other good billys, but that one is tops

I haven’t. I’m not disparaging the blues, I quite like it, but when you build an entire genre on 12 bar you see commonalities.
