Total shitshow only /r/Toronto can cook up spicier than bbq ribs the dude they are roasting can

In the most boring dystopia of a city subreddit, namely /r/Toronto this thread about a local restaurant owner becomes super hot and countless people from all walks of social media life are feigning the most outraged faces and all are disappointed as if someone killed their pet.

Now, you wonder what could possibly ire that many of self-righteous douchebags of /r/toronto... well, let me tell you... our Chad of a restaurateur uttered online hard-R word we in the north exiled from dictionary when we elected one for a Prime Minister.

At one point, a brave Redditor realized not everyone will be as outraged as them and their grandma so they did a n-word bot count on the guy which yielded paltry 2 soft r n-words. Paltry and insignificant in the real world and, of course at /r/drama but career self-immolating offence when it comes to f@ggots of /r/toronto

Long story short, guy eventually issued apology over a word ret@rd while today, a guy who killed 3 kids and their grandfather while drunk driving got early release from jail.

/r/torontro - the epicenter of doucheb@ggery

I totally realize most people are going to disagree with me here but I feel compelled to say that closing the sub for a joke wasn't a very kind thing to do. We have seen TONS of posts from vulnerable populations talking about how this sub is a source of support and humor in a dark time. Irony and dirtbagism aside, taking away that support without warning was not okay.

You can say I'm being silly, or humorless or reactionary. Whatever. I love the show and I love this community. But sometimes I come home after dealing with ableism and our nightmare reality all day, and this sub is one of many things that make me feel better. It wasn't a good feeling to find this sub closed for the sake of irony. Maybe that's laughable or pathetic. But for me, it's true.

Adamson Barbecue

No-frills lunch spot in a converted warehouse serving Texas-style slow-smoked meat & classic sides.

Lol, a toronto restaurant serving fake us bbq.

There's only one real bbq, and that's eastern nc. Anything else is a joke.

I got burned out on NC bbq when I lived there but I've been craving it bad lately though. That vinegar soaked smoked pork doused in Texas Pete is just so damn good. I live in TX now and I fail to understand the hype around the bbq here. Probably my least favorite style tbh

This is a window in how our society and our civilization will collapse. Everything will eventually grind to a halt as none will be able to do anything without offending everyone.

Rob Ford is Toronto's high point of relevence. PBUH.

Now I hope his business doesn't survive the pandemic. What an idiot.

Completely sane and healthy response to someone saying a mean word on the internet, to try to wish his business and career out of existence.
