I'm 120hrs in and it never even occurred to me until a certain zoomer here pointed out that you get molotov cocktail technology pretty early. Just gotta make a big burn pile in a rocky area and let it all go up.
I've tried using incendiary IEDs in my kill zones, but by the time I get that to that tech I'm already extremely well dug in and the only real threat is sieges, psy ships, mechanoid hives, stuff that forces me out of my base.
Yeah, it's a useful early game timesaver for body removal but later on, you either keep a pyromaniac with an incendiary launcher on staff or use the mod that lets you build a crematorium unit that really turns up the heat so you can use a switch to send the temp into the thousands in a min or two. It's also a way to make a trap maze extra deadly by having a fire at one end and it all being one room so the temp gives people heatstroke before they even set off too many traps.
It also removes having to deal with trash from raids both moral wise and item storage wise A la the dwarf atom smasher.

This is why you need a room full of shitty furniture that's flammable for disposable purposes.
If your smart you'll also turn it into a kill room/firetrap/corpse disposal device all at the same time and get efficient.

If you really need to get rid of corpses instead of butchering them you can just put them in unroofed river, they are gone in a few days.

My first successful run I carved my base into the mountains. Then I learned that the bugs can spawn in your base, and my storage caught fire.
Turned my mountain base into a brick oven.

Your condescending, contradictory bullshit isn't attractive to anyone except your frothing, basement-dwelling, virgin army.
