I'm incredibly torn. On the one hand, jannies do it for free, but on the other hand, admins are pathetic enough that they have accepted a job with Reddit.
This exchange makes it clear that the jannies are the kind of people you'd expect would work for free on the internet, and the admins are the kind of people whose best employment opportunity you'd expect would be administrating reddit.
