People with PCOS who are too fat to defend themselves or run away are fun to abuse. I like to take a spoon, heat it up until it's glowing hot, then place it on the skin while they're asleep. The reaction when they wake up after the 25th time of being burned by a redhot piece of metal is amazing. You can literally piecemeal their mental stability down to complete insanity, then leave them in their own homes helpless and alone. :DDDDDDDDDD
serious postRunners do NOT have any higher risk of knee replacement surgery. That is a myth. Runners have way lower risk of a ton of other health issues, especially the expensive chronic ones (diabetes, heart problems). To say people who exercise cost the healthcare system more is just mind-boggling.
These people literally need to lace up and go for a frickin jog instead of their mental gymnastics.
lmao only reddit would claim working out is more of a health risk than being a fatty. So stupid. My cardio health especially for my age is excellent.
I only run 3 miles a day though. 2.5 miles if I didn't have enough calories the day before and don't have the energy. I lost 6 pounds in April from running every day and didn't even diet. It's a great way to get in shape (r/FamilyMan reference!)
ive been running for a good 15 years now on the regular and have yet to experience any knee issues worse than "it hurts a bit, gotta stop running for a week till it feels better"
all the people i know in their 20s/30s with joint injuries got them by not exercising at all, ever, and then blew their shit out trying to move couches or walk across slightly uneven fields
I mean, ask any doctor and they will advise you to back off running too much as you grow older. They will tel lyou transition to a bike or stationary bike. As running long distances late into life really fucks up everything from the waist down.
But to claim that running isnt a huge net positive to yours and societies overall health is pure naked pathology.
You can switch to a treadmill, which I admit sucks compared to outdoors but better on joints. I really felt it in my calves though when I had to switch to outdoor running and then I have hills to run up and down, so my calf muscles were really getting a better workout than dreadmill running.
I run 2-3 miles a day and don't have joint issues. I did when I first started though and had to back off for about a month once.
The prospect running 5 miles on concrete makes me shudder. Don't you have a park or something nearby? I only run on hard surfaces when there's no other option
Gluttony is a sin. God made us in His image so obesity is a desecration of God's image. The fire and brimstone of Hell is kept alight with the fat flesh of these hamplanets.

yah i run 5 miles every other day on a treadmill and the difference in pain from running on concrete is night and day.

best of both worlds is if you can find trails/grass to run on--softer than concrete but you still get to work more muscles
unfortunately escaping pavement can be hard depending on where you live 😔

1) Runners in general, no. Persons of Girth, yes.
2) Don't exercise to lose weight, eat less. Walking an hour and a half is equivalent to just not eating one chocolate bar. Exercise to be healthy.

They'll fuck up my roads too. Too much surface pressure

People who do mental gymnastics are at lower risk for Alzheimer's and dementia though.

I play squash which statistically means I'll have a heart attack during a game before I develop knee problems anyway ^_^

They give that warning only in Burgeristan because Burgers are the only humans who would eat a fried skunk’s ass if it had melted cheese on it

It's interesting how a sub that routinely champions keeping people in their homes, by force even, find this to be going too far.

The sub has danced around the risk of obesity with covid the entire time.
Makes you wonder why this is where they draw the line on our civil liberties
let’s see how they respond to gyms reopening
