It looks like you are being sarcastic. She said the sentence "That was THE BEST!" slowly, in an enthusiastic but low, deep, and serious voice. It sounded very natural when she said it. She said it as if she had just experienced something life-changing.
I wrote in my original post that when I am in my bedroom I can hear everything that goes on in the room they were in. I wasn't actively trying to listen in. The walls are thin because it was originally a single home that they turned into a duplex. There is actually a (locked) door in my bedroom that opens up to the room they were in.
You could have left the room or turned on some music or done something to drown it out, but you chose to listen. I've overheard people having sex too, but I just try to make something louder so I don't hear. How come you chose to listen? Not judging, just curious.
