The threat from Bernouts that they won't vote for 'ol Hairsniffer is the emptiest of threats because if they actually voted Bernie wouldn't have gotten taken out behind the shed and unceremoniously put down like he did. The youth vote is a myth.
No, their awareness of politics extends to "hey I know that name, he was Obama's vise precedent!"
They overwhelmingly preferred Biden even though he's basically the worst person on the ticket they could've voted for. Just some random white guy the DNC picked to make white voters less scared of the BBC.
These people take partisan politics way too fucking seriously.
Also correct me if I'm wrong but isn't everything from Tara Reade just accusations at the moment? I'm not saying she's lying, but everybody seems so eager to pick a side and just, well, hate. I don't want to "pick sides" until there is enough evidence from either side to make an informed decision. When outsiders in cases like this jump in and start rooting for people/making about their minds before all the evidence has come out just make it much harder for everyone else to sift through the bullshit and make things way more painful for those directly involved in the case.
Idk. I've seen first person what bandwagoning can do during these sorts of things and it's never good. I am legally bound by an NDA but I what I can disclose is that I am an advisor to a sexual assault victim in an active case right now, so I've seen what people picking sides can do. Sexual assault investigations are a truly horrible process for everyone involved; they don't need internet warriors trying to accelerate things or constantly make accusations. Supporting victims is important, but it's not helpful when all you're doing is expressing anger and hatrid, because it just stirs the figurative pot. Just my two cents having seen the fallout from these situations first hand.
There's a lot more (read: any) corroboration than Kavanagh's accusations and they didn't let that go for like 8 months. By contrast, everything relating to Reade's accusations has been suppressed and very few liberal/progressive/whatever TV programs or publications will even acknowledge an accusation's been made. None of the late night shows have mentioned it even once. She worked for him, she quit under duress, multiple people remember talking to her about it, there's video evidence of her mother calling Larry King about it, proof of complaints being filed and ignored, etc.
If he wasn't the Democratic candidates he'd be crucified. Instead the people who do acknowledge it are saying they don't care if he raped her, they're still going to vote for him. The most reasonable response I've seen is "well why did you pick this moment to come forward?" which is a fair point, except that she did come forward decades ago and was ignored.
So is the person in your case somewhat attractive? If not, they're prob making it up. You might wanna write this down and take back to work for reference.
I know you're joking but the person in question is my girlfriend, and I'm involved in the case because this guy fucking ruined her life. Don't really appreciate that tbh
I will not vote for a candidate unless he has raped at least two girls, preferably underage slaves. A president must follow the example set by our founding fathers.

Biden's only on 1500 (55%) to Bernie's 900 (37%). He's fucking toast if those voters don't convert.
Well, he's toast anyway, but you know what I mean.

"Internalized misogynist" and "prude" are the new slurs for women with standards and boundaries. Don't let newspeak fool you. ;)

The second most upvoted comment as of now, LMAO. Some light drama there too, btw.
