We knew about the mortality rate being relatively low when compared to certain more deadly viruses. The problem lies in the strain on the fucking health care with ICU's being overcrowded. You don't need to die to be in an ICU. There's still too much people being admitted into hospitals due to Covid. Most of them will survive, but that isn't the problem. They still need fucking care. Open up everything, get more ''non deadly'' cases... but treat them where?
Joe's the ultimate trigger for a SRDine. He has all these ingredients that would go into their fictional caricature of the dreaded "redditor" expect he's extremely successful, creative, fit, wildly popular, etc. Plus he probably fit's into some kind of centrist category which makes SRDines flip their shit even harder than republicans do. They struggle so hard to write the narrative that Joe is evil/worthless/harmful but it just doesn't work.
They also get triggered because he doesn't endlessly argue with his guests. Srdines cannot fathom it when someone doesn't "correct" the other when they say some "wrong think"
I don't get why people think he's a dentist, let alone conservative. He constantly talks about the many left wing ideas he likes like UBI and doesn't have nearly as many conservative guests on as SRD thinks. I mean look at the sidebar on the Rogan subreddit and see how many people involved in conservative politics there aren't.
