I know you took one of my chicken McNuggets, Douglas

I know that's why you drove the one mile down the road to my house at 7mph. So you could eat it.

And I know that soda was diet.

Uber doesn't provide a means of dispute resolution so I've decided to personally resolve our dispute. Dramatically. Via reddit post.

Hahahahaha, you're in college and you still spend your time like this! This internet troll shit is for lonely 14 year olds, not adults.

The rest of your life is going to be lonely and boring if this is what you do with your time during what should be your most exciting years.

Before you know it, college will be over and you'll have no ability to make new friends because you don't have anything interesting to talk about or any way to meet new people. If you're not able to make friends now when it's literally the easiest it will ever be, there's no way you're going to swing it when you're even older.

Tip better and maybe you'll get a good driver

There are good uber drivers?

Wow tipping is such a great system

Umm, European redditor here, DAE tipping so strange? So weird, so strange. Our education system is much better, you see, but I become confused and enraged when I am reminded that I am supposed to tip here, why does eating require math? You should have a system that doesnโ€™t require tipping, you lowly cattle, and I am also offended that I have to remember your plight. Smash that MF updoot button and lets start a circle jerk. Silver is okay to award if you are service industry. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜ฏ๐Ÿ†™

Seething tipcuck

Tipping culture in the US is indefensible even ironically.

The studies that tried to prove it doesn't correlate to quality of service failed, and only proved that overly generous tips do not correlate with superior service, not that overly poor tips don't correlate with poor service(because those do).

Tipping is unironically based and a way to take part of your money back if the help impinged on your dining chadxperience.

Shouldn't have to bribe chapos to do their job

Tipping is actually blackmailing someone that you won't pay them if they do a shitty job, cmv

Duh. And there's the classic reddit asshole story about the guys dad putting the whole tip on the table before hand and taking a bit away every time the waiter messed up. They all act like he's the biggest douche in the world for making explicit what was already obviously the implicit agreement.

That's not the way it works anymore with 3rd party delivery services though. You have to put the tip on upfront and the drivers get to pick and choose what orders they accept. It pits the customers against each other. People who put a big tip on get their order accepted and delivered quickly while people who don't tip can't find anyone to take their crappy order and the third party company has to add more and more money to eventually subsidize the order to the point that a driver is willing to accept it. By that time your food is cold. Capitalism at its finest.

with 3rd party delivery services though

only dummies use these though

That's what this thread is about. OP is a dummy who is ordering chicken nuggets from ubereats. You can be lazy or you can be cheap but you can't be both. Cut-rate bids get cut-rate contractors

Fuck da thread we talking about tipping in general now

Then personally, I think it's a pretty good system. I used to work in the restaurant industry so I am a generous tipper and if I get really good service then I usually go over the top. If you are a well-known regular at an establishment who acts cool and tips well you usually get treated well in return and get lots of comps and stuff like that. I've gotten more free drinks from bartenders than I can count.

The service industry is all about hustle. As long as I see someone making an effort I tip well. If someone is hustling hard and supremely competent and really nice then they are getting a huge tip. If someone is nice but not that good they are getting a decent tip. If someone is really bad, isn't even trying and also has a bad attitude I have no problem stiffing them.

boo one nugget was missing

But did a pizza was ever delivered to you in this condition ?

I have actually had worse pizzas but I don't know why this has to be a competition.

You're not the only one who suffered from Uber Eats. The worst thing is that you can't yell at someone, their customer service is non-existent. I will seek revenge.

Wanna team up? It could be a crossover event

What you have in mind

Something gay, that's for sure.
