I sat through the video, I’m aware how much of a loser I am please don’t remind me.
H3 added legitimately nothing to the conversation about Keemstar that wasn’t already known to have happened from like 5 years ago. He also dodged one of Keemstar’s main problems with him. Keem was wondering where money was from a fair use fund was and that question wasn’t answered.
H3 is as much as a piece of shit as Keem is and I see this as a ploy for H3 to try to make himself feel better.
Overall I’d recommended investing DRMA before Keemstar makes a response video.
What about the rest of it? The whole point was to help everyone struggling. And the issue people have is that H3H3 was beating the drum for a fund that can be used to protect all major YouTubers but as soon as they had enough for their lawsuit they ended it
what ethan said was that they thought they had way more money than they needed, so they made that fund to help with other people. as legal fees added up, they realized they needed that money, and became the first (and last) recipient of the fund. the case was a relatively major one that has benefitted content creators, supposedly, so it wasn't like it was this massive cash grab
It was entirely a cash grab, for themselves. The problem was they sold it as a community fund "for the future of everyone" but as soon as they didn't need it anymore they just bailed on the entire project.
They could have just been straight up and asked for someone to take over the project because they weren't able to manage it but instead they got real cagey about it and just let the entire thing die until people started calling them out on letting it die the way it did. they didn't address the issue because it was the right thing to do, they did it because it finally became too heaty not to address it.
In the end, h3 not being in charge of anything outside of their shitty youtube / twitch channels is the best thing to happen. Imagine letting that dipshit be in control of your legal fund. only thing worse would be an ahs jannie
