The history that matters is taught

when the only things you see about Africa on the TV is starving kids and mud huts about donating pennies a day it tends to distort the reality.

True, there are also starving adults with no huts.

The only reason those people would know anything about Western history is because they studied it. Not that is anything to brag about.

World history is western history, who cares who invented the ring neck extender when we have electricity?
