Kind of neat if it was her, but 2 year old thread and not a lot of Drama.

but 2 year old thread

I mean its Snally πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

and not a lot of Drama.

You can't feel the dramatic tension? 😞

You can cut it with a knife, the same knife the killer used to break the seal on his Asus laptop box he purchased earlier before using the laptop to create a Reddit account and type out the comment linked in OP’s post.

You cracked the case!

Holy shit lol, what happened in the end?

That account got suspended.

Yeah, that's super weird. I wonder why.

Have you ever found someone with a cold trail such as used to be presented on Unsolved Mysteries?

Nope, there's a big community of people doing that though. Oftentimes it ends with those people harassing "suspects" and digging through trash, but there's also a subgroup of people who try to match Jane/John Does to missing people, and they do some great work. It seems really time-consuming, though.

That's one of the few posts on UnresolvedMysteries where it actually seems like the person might have just up and ditched their old life rather than being murdered or committing suicide. I could believe it.

Yeah, same. I hope she's still alive

I did a research paper this summer on this subreddit and there was a published study that found that 74% of attacks on Reddit came from 1% of source subreddits. I assume that subs like r/Drama are the 1%.
