I don't think he was ever considered a first-tier action star. Certainly not on the same level as Schwarzenegger and probably behind Van Damme. The one movie he actually did that I ever liked was Under Siege 2.
No the actually very good, better Mad Max. I mean, I have not seen the original but the new one was really good. If you have not seen it you should and if you have you probably would enjoy this documenting the insanity of filming it: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/12/movies/mad-max-fury-road-oral-history.html
Inception was fun, Avatar was fun and also politically enjoyable because I found it very easy to emphasize with the antagonist lieutenant in a mech. It was a pretty fair movie politically speaking.
This might come as a shock to you, but I do not care about your opinions, your ignorance or failure to comprehend the research, or what you believe. The only thing I care about, and I can not stress this enough, is what the empirical research says. And it says you are wrong.
Your personal opinion? worth as much as a pile of dog shit on the sidewalk to me. That is the absolute extent to which I care about what you think. This is where I stopped reading. I do not entertain the economic illiteracy of far leftists or far right-wing tards.
Both are equally misinformed on average, both are failures.
My favorite Steven Seagal story is when he teamed up with Joe Arpaio to bust what was apparently an illegal cockfighting ring with an APC but busted into the wrong house and killed a dude’s dog

By the way, Denton, stay out of the ladies restroom. That kind of activity embarasses the agency more than it does you.
