I just don't see this as having a good ROI. Maybe it's just another shitty thing to pad out their library, but it's going to be terrible and doesn't really have a real audience. It'd probably be more cost effective to just get some more shitty comedy specials or something to pad.
“Cracka” is a highly controversial low budget ‘revenge porn’ series that shows an alternative version of American history where the black people enslave, rape, and murder the white people.
And people say they don't make good productions anymore smh
This isn't an original idea at all and can think of about 3 movies I've seen dealing with the same story but can't think of the titles. One I know was a showtime original movie in the 90s . here's a modern take on it though
It just gets me that they're acting like this is some "ooooh ahhhh how dating and scandalous" when it's not a new idea. It's like when black panther came out and everyone just acted like blade and spawn etc hadn't ever existed.
We have a game that tells what would had happened if nazis won but is wrong when black people do the same on history eras?
I reañly fail to see anti white stuff here rather than a "what if" premise
But if white people are the oppressed ones the offensiveness would be reversed. Because white Americans speak rhotically so when they talk amongst themselves they're all like 'Sup my cracker' whereas their black owners are all like 'back to work CRACKA'.
Dale Resteghini seemingly assumed the comment was from an angry Black Lives Matter activist and was pandering to him by showing support for a violent uprising. Shortly after releasing his mistake he hid the comments and replies to all of his Instagram posts.

I’m having a hard time disagreeing with him.

If this shit actually makes it to Amazon/iTunes I'll be amazed.

Amazon will eat this up. They have some show on prime about Jews being hunted by Nazis post WWII. This is exactly the sort of shit Amazon wants

You would be surprised what gets greenlit. Producers and studios are not actually creatives but ratherreally business saavy people.
They tend to look at a film pitch in terms of marketability and potential success rather than a strong story or anything.
It is pretty mich same in music jndustry

It just managed to snag a good time coming out with all the blm stuff going on, also it makes rightoids seethe so social media is gonna love it.

Honestly I feel that the huge pushback that's coming will put it in development hell and then it'll be quietly cancelled.

Maybe, will be interesting to see what happens. Maybe it comes out but since it will most likely suck anyway, not many people will watch it.

It sounds like Black Future except dumbed down for audiences who aren't ready for sissification yet.

This is outrage porn and outrage marketing. Not unlike what Sony tried to do with Ghostbusters in 2016.
