The "party switch" thing always cracks me up, because they can never agree on when it happened.
If it was pre-WW2, that means Strom Thurmond just randomly changed party membership from Democrat to Republican in 1964, for no reason at all. If it was post-WW2, that means FDR, the closest thing America has ever had to a socialist in office, was equivalent to a modern-day Republican. If we decide to ignore FDR because his existence is inconvenient, and say that "the switch" was in 1964, that still means JFK is equivalent to a modern-day Republican, and Nixon, who was the Republican candidate in both 1960 (when he lost) and 1968 (when we won), completely shifted his entire worldview in just 8 years, despite running on a similar platform both times. Meanwhile, George Wallace was a Democrat 'til the day he died, and was Governor of Alabama as recently as the mid-1980s. Did "the switch" occur in 1988? If so, why don't modern-day Democrats love Ronald Reagan?
The reality is that when you only have two parties, they are, by necessity, big tent. Which means you end up with a lot of overlap between the two. But sure, the parties "switched".
I only follow the patriarchal aspects of Islam. Not the aspects that make you a cuck e.g. Abstaining from womanising, penetrating a sweet trap virgin ass and lowering your gaze.
