I think the reason why this is happening is because it's the only weakness viciously bigoted men have. You cannot have educated conversations with them. You cannot stats and fact find your way to an understanding. They don't care. They only care about their appearance and masculinity according to their peers so when they are emasculated and body shamed publicly they tend to step way over the line and eventually get themselves into a boycott or outright fired.

I don't think the people who do this are being anti-male in any way shape or form. They're goading bigotry into economic warfare with self-inflicted wounds. And it's really effective.

Imagine how much damage Trump could have done at his Phoenix rally if he didn't spend 90 minutes of it proving he can drink water and walk on ramps. That was 90 minutes he didn't utilize to spread hate speech.

the reality of the situation is that I myself am a white man. Among friends, this type of rhetoric is pretty common. If, say, a woman of colour starts talking about no-chin, pencil-neck, no-dick, ugly bald white supremacists, I'm not keen to leap to the defence of the white supremacists involved because she's not voicing her contempt in the right terms. I do realise diplomacy, tact, and timing can mitigate the circumstances somewhat, but it's unassailable that, in order to speak up, a white guy is tone-policing a woman a colour. That's a fact that absolutely will be mentally noted by many of the parties present, and even if they didn't voice it to my face, I'm nearly certain would foster some kind of resentment or ill sentiment.
