That fallacy primarily applies to things like "well 8 billion people believe god exists, therefore god exists."
It's an appeal to popularity - that is, because many people believe something, that means it's true.
It doesn't apply to criminal cases where witnesses say x happened. I'm completely baffled as to how you thought the fallacy applied to criminal cases. Of course this doesn't mean witnesses are always right, but when multiple different witnesses say something happened during a criminal complaint, it carries more credibility, any court or lawyer will tell you that.
The only conclusion I can come to is you have no formal education on the subject, have never read a book in your life, and like most right-wing dolts think incorrectly invoking fallacies is a valid replacement for a real argument.

China holds a huge amount of US dollars, both in cash reserves as well as in debt. In fact, China is the single largest holder of US debt in the world. If the US devalues it's currency, it would destroy the Chinese economy - while simultaneously making US goods and services cheaper to buy.
It's debatable that anyone actually ever "wins" in a trade war, definitely not from an economic sense, but if we're trying to figure out who will sustain the most economic damage, it absolutely isn't the US.
