I can't help but think that there is a large group of people in our society that genuinely thinks there are only two possible explanations for the racial disparities in the US: Either white people are still just as racist towards black people as they were decades/centuries ago, or black people really are unintelligent, inferior apes. If you believe those are the only two possibilities, and you're a good progressive, of course you will believe the former, and of course you will think anyone who disagrees with you is a Nazi. To even entertain the possibility that white people are not at fault for all the ills of minorities in society would be evil.
Not to mention, critical race theory encourages racial essentialist thinking, so someone who buys into that nonsense would be even more incentivized to view race in such terms.
The black proverb of "you gotta work twice as hard to get half as much" is a good way of destroying your culture if you tell that to a generation of children. Imagine if you told that to a child and they believed you. Maybe there's a 10% chance of that kid growing up and really working hard and doing well for him/herself. There's probably a 90% chance that kid would take it as an excuse to give up -- I would. That saying, which leads to defeatism, is an extremely common one amongst black people. And it kind of makes sense for it to be common, because if your ethnic group compared poorly to other ethnic groups, it's comforting to shrug your shoulders and blame it entirely on outside forces.
This is all to say, I can't see how racial disparities or race relations are going to be ameliorated. The self-hating mayo and the self-pitying black both believe that the answer to the racial conflict is that white people "need to do better." Well, I wouldn't be surprised if whites in general are >90% less racist in 2020 than they were in 1920. What we're seeing now is what happens when racism is substantially gone, but racial disparities still persist. The anti-racists are becoming increasingly desperate for an answer as to why the racial disparities have not gone away, even though practically all of the obvious examples of racism have left our society. Their solution seems to be to become more and more cultish.
Blacks get black results because they are black. Imagine the bell curve difference between men and women, now imagine it between whites and Asians and then blacks and whites. There's literally nothing wrong with admitting there's a difference between races.
Imagine you worked for a family business, with your brothers and sisters. Would you leave your dumb brother out in the cold? No, he'd get a job appropriate for his ability, same as your bright sister and dim brother who's good at sales. There's literally nothing wrong with racism unless you're fucking with people's potential because of the easy their born.
