US schools can't open for at least two reasons:
Americans
Air filtration
Children and teachers are going to die if schools open this Fall. The CDC recommends opening windows and outside air dampers to dilute the virus in the air. Would you trust your child's life to their school's HVAC system? In a building built in the 1950s?
Most classrooms don't have operable windows. Even if they do, opening the windows actually short-circuits the airflow of the HVAC system, sending the temperature and humidity spiraling out of control!
Before your kids start trading their lunchables to sit next to the window, should we see what science has to say?
