Had a English teacher in highschool that had a doctorate in feminist literature. All the guys in the class knew how to play up the answers to get her to give us easy marks. It's really not hard especially as they frame the questions a certain way that makes it pretty obvious what they want.

Mao was a very weird mix of anarchy and authoritarianism, like he used anarchy and mob violence in pursuit of his authoritarianism. He also was not a huge fan of centralization unlike the Soviets. This weird element of anarchy and decentralization is a big reason imo that Chinese Communism ultimately turned out to be so much longer lasting and adaptable the Soviet Communism, Soviet Communism was brittle and it broke, Chinese Communism naturally adapted to the times and survived. It can be less extreme and moderate, it can also be subject to being more extreme.

It's really fascinating, Mao honestly was one of the most interesting human beings to ever live. I hate seeing him compared to Hitler or Stalin, Hitler was a fucking doofus, Stalin was a paranoid egomaniac. Mao was a fucking poet, a genius, a psychopath. You should not have to read things you disagree with ideologically. Even if you specifically take a class in the subject. Actually classes in the subject should be banned and all classes should be required to rigidly adhere to right wing nationalist ideology. That is free speech on campus.
