I cannot think or comprehend of anything more cuhcked than having a rental property. Honestly, think about it rationally. You purchase and maintain a property just so it can get ravaged by some chapoid. All the hard work you put into your property - painting the walls, putting in new hardwood floors and appliances, fixing up the yard. All of it has one simple result: the property is more enjoyable for the chapoids that will eventually use every open space as a funkopop display.

as someone who has worked in the property management industry, and been to many-a conferences, it is quite disturbing the number of rich men brag about the number of units their company is managing AND the fees that they charged the owners! good lord that mark up was intense sometimes
sure, there were some companies with some very friendly, honest folks. they'd be very sheepish actually about their cheap rates! why? because the industry "standard" tells them otherwise
Property management industry is like 90% women and the companies charge a percentage of rents collected. Also it's kind of funny to act like the PM people are the rich one and not the person owning a $25 million property.
