Journalists live in a glass house of cope. Attack any mainstream agency in the wallet and they'll cry about how no one is making any money and we need to protect the few journalists left. That's because journos are essentially paid to write their own r-slurred takes on popular topics they don't know anything about. Questioning their reporting is like questioning their meagre intelligence and gets an entire cope machine of journalists going who are covering their own asses.
I was listening to Lucinda Williams album “car wheels in a gravel road” a couple years ago and the song lake Charles stuck out to me. I decided to google it and found this great article . A well written article talking about the background of a hyper emotional eulogy to a friend from a smaller publication. Now you just have stupid pretentious bullshit posted everywhere
A lot of them dont actually believe what they are saying. For a few months I worked security at the Washington Post and most of them actually are intellectually curious and looking for different points of view. They just cant publish it. They know they are shills and they are just taking the $ and prestige and selling their journalistic integrity. And they all but admit it but thats how you get ahead in the MSM.
Honestly, even though I understand the reason why they settled, (not spending more dealing with the litigation) it puts a bad taste in my mouth because they did nothing wrong.

The weird part is that you can just watch the 20sec video (instead of the 5sec one) and just get the whole story/context without needing to fall back to wingcuckery. No one just wants to grill for gods sake however.
