AKs have a rep for being inaccurate. In actual fact they aren't and have been successfully used as a substitute marksman rifle when SVDs weren't widely dispersed in old Warsaw-pact militaries. However you do need to zero the sights correctly and this is a tad more complicated & time consuming than the average LARPer can manage.

My squadmates always recommend spending few sessions focusing on single fire while moving the mouse down smoothly to compensate for the crosshair drift. Then move on and master the AWP.
Except fucking Makarovs. My buddy had one that couldnt hit a lifesize Bin Laden head at 20 feet. First went to one side of the tree, then the other. This from a guy who nails squirrels between the eyes at 50 yards with ironsights.
