They finally learning police primarily work for the state at the end of the day. Might have tanks filled with corrupt fucks but the ones in charge know letting officials gets potentially shot will get a tree branch shoved up every cop in the states ass.
Even if they did decide to let them it’s not like people who work any state capital are going to let them bring in a bunch of giant flags and loaded rifles inside with them. 2nd amendment doesn’t let you take guns wherever, court houses are another good example of that.
Police also treated them with kiddy gloves here. Some pepper spray and bruises on a few people pushed out of the doorway. Saw way more force used for people standing at other protests where people were simply standing and not doing what they were doing here which was smashing open the door of the statehouse and breaking its windows.
I’m not denying it doesn’t happen, but to assume all people who wear mascot costumes, or are furries, smoke crack and fuck all day in costume is a massive fallacy.
