Who consumed the rest of Jesus afterward?
But actually he rose again and then his body disappeared didn't it? The fat was not butchered and burnt and offered to God? Again an inappropriate sacrifice, if Jesus is your human sacrifice a part of him must be burnt so that God can participate in the offerings. If he just rises from the dead afterward what is there for God to eat out of that? How are you offering anything to him?
I must also point out the complete absurdity of the evangelical protestant notion of salvation. Evangelical protestants believe that salvation is offered by being like an adult and praying specifically to the man Jesus for salvation with free will. Usually this is a torturous affair in childhood when you've been scared shitless about how evil and sinful you are and how you're going to hell, and after that you are instructed to repeat some words and pagan prayer to a man instead of to God, and this is how salvation takes place. They are attempting to fix moral issues they have with the Catholic ritual but are just deeply confused. How the hell can any of this have anything to do with anything mentioned in the bible? And of course it leaves one eternally in doubt as to your salvation, evangelical protestants just keep on trying to get "saved" again and "really saved" at last tormenting themselves with this question, because they do not and never will feel any different.

Jesus was a sacrifice, and his salvation was offered by being offered up as a sacrifice again and again by the eucharist, he was your sacrifice in this ritual, that is the purpose of the Catholic ritual.
