White supremacists are inherently the lowest members of that group. All they have is their skin colour. They could do what other members of society do and build up wealth, influence, and power. However, this requires effort; emotional stability; and a sound mind.

Despite all this until he was secretly recorded by his mistress no one knew of his racism. Racism in itself is irrational, and most people that think like that even wealthy people out themselves. Why exactly are you surprised that a DC businesses owner who is politically active is influential? That's literally what every major business owner in a city does -- politics. Restaurants in particular, and real estate too. Literally happens in every small town everywhere not just DC. If this is a surprise you're either naive, stupid, or worse -- an autist.
