Lol stadia got BTFO by Xbox going mobile and PC. As a PC gaymer there's no reason I would use stadia when steam and xbox and epic and origin and battle net already exist with cross play and huge game libraries.

Stadia is a not terrible idea that isn't quite ready for prime time because data streaming isn't fast enough widely enough yet. Google knows this and isn't wasting any more resources on it.

Game streaming is a shitty idea though. You can not have reasonable input delays over the internet period. Any game that requires quick reactions would be shit on it.

It's fine for things like terraria. And really any competitive game that has a need for twitch reflexes has this input delay problem online anyways. How soon do you think your opponent can see the effects of your input? If it's implemented well any game should be as responsive as the best netcode of online games.

I'm pretty sure they realized it the second they saw that the only positive press about the Stadia reveal was Doom Eternal gameplay footage. And even then I'm damn sure the only reason Eternal even has a Stadia version is just so id can say there's another platform that runs Doom.

All they had to do was unlock his account and now they're out a studio. Does anyone actually use Stadia anyways?
