I read the biography of the bassist for the Cro-Mags who said he knew Madonna when she was just a New York club slut, before she became a famous New York club slut. I probably know more about how his dad died than he does since I doubt his mom told him they cut his fucking fingers off.

Oh shit, you're right. The drug dealer was also named Hayward Peele, oddly enough. I thought he died when Jordan was a baby rather than running off, which would have matched up to the death of the drug dealer version. I'm just going to pretend the one who died in 1999 was an extradimensional imposter from that Jet Li movie so I can keep telling this story.
