My least favorite part of the pandemic is the normalization of consumer headphones with built in mics for interviews. I get that this is a podcast with maybe a dozen viewers, but even when people have testified before Congress and do remote segments on national news they're wearing airpods.
This shit has got to stop, I didn't buy a 5.1 Sonos surround sound set and Audio Technica m50x's to hear every hiss and crackle from your shitty consumer audio equipment.
YouTubers with less than 100 subs have better audio setups than broadcast news.
