So basically there was this big update for stellaris. A massive, throbbing dick update. As any update it broke every mods. One mod, the guy from real space (a mod that make the galaxy more pretty) decided to make the version for 3.0.1, the big dick update, available only to patreon.

This made tons of people mad especially as he had beta access from paradox (the one making the actual game) to update his mod. And they are even madder because as it was breaking ToS paradox swung their big dick (not the update this times) and forced him to release the mod (well it was taken down at a point).

"Manufactured outrage" it's nice that you keep using buzzwords you don't understand. As someone whose worked in modding videogames for the past 16 years, it really is nice to see takes like this. I for one think that trying to make modding a living is fundamentally daft, and that this modder represents the sick side of the community.

This person is no better than minecraft modders with their petty behavior like forced incompatibility for the sake of spite.

Its actually worse, since some wankers actually reported him to PDX now and they blocked his Frontiers mod. So, now it can't get updated, which means we can't play it.

So yeah....great job, guys. You played yourself.

And not a soul in this comment section gave a good GD about a multi-million dollar game studio corporation's ToS until it just totally coincidentally meant that they might get their way and get a mod when they wanted it as opposed to two weeks following.

I've got no real hate for Paradox either. I just think it's really disengenuous to freak out about a modder who makes pieces of pennies compared to PDX over a two-week delay. And you can say whatever you want, but anybody with two brain cells rubbing together can see that's what people are aggravated over: the wait.

I find it absolutely hilarious just how many people who would normally be whinging and crying to the heavens about how awful PDX is for just about any given business decision they might make is now RUSHING to their ToS and hiding behind it like because they didn't get something that they wanted at the same time as Patreon supporters did.

Anybody who has hopped off the "PDX wOn'T FIx the BroKEN g@me!!1" outrage train onto this one is merely outing themselves as an utter selfish piece of vermin. You don't care about the modding community, you don't care about Paradox, and you certainly don't care about your fellow players. You will drool self-righteous venom and sacrifice your own grandmother at whichever altar ostensibly promises that you'll receive something you want when you want it.

Ahaha. And I thought why no one writes? It turns out I just accidentally turned off notifications. I have not read what they write in the comments and on the reddit. I just do not have time, I am constantly working. All who are indignant shoot themselves in the leg. I didn’t sleep for almost 2 nights to be on time. @Chris I wouldn't. But they poke a stick at paradoxes, making them nervous. Paradoxically, I did it for the donors. Otherwise, I just have to delete mods everywhere.
