NBA tells teams to prepare for more fiery but mostly peaceful protests. đ´ââ ď¸/nba preemptively comes out in support of the incoming wave of peace.
Really wanted to mouth you off on that one, but you're not really wrong. We still use the superior form of writing though, compared to the inferior simplified trash.
We're still mostly Han Chinese. It's just there are also bunch of larpers trying their hardest to convince themselves that they are not.
The CCP isn't going to achieve hegemony in the way America has. America is going to become much weaker and China is going to become much stronger, as will other regional powers.
But just as being a whitoid used to get you respect and pussy thrown at you in the third world, being Han could get you that status eventually.
Plus, if the reunification of Taiwan and the CCP is more peaceful than others respect, you may just be embraced as one of the boys.
But just as being a whitoid used to get you respect and pussy thrown at you in the third world, being Han could get you that status eventually.
The thing is, the only third world countries I will travel is probably in Europe. Bleh.

Oh hell no. I don't want to be mistaken as the CCP. Also I have no faith in CCP treating Taiwanese well in any capacity. Just look at Hong Kong. Granted, they also played themselves, but the CCP wasn't being all sincere with their "promises," either.
Partially unrelated but theyâre arguing about it in the thread. The 13 year old that was shot.
Did anyone see the bodycam footage? Am I taking crazy pills or is Reddit just drinking the koolaid there? How is that unjustified given the scenario? Cop knew he had a gun. Kid swings it around his body where cop canât see it when he goes to dump it. Cop makes split second decision based on active shooter call they originally responded to.
Unfortunate, yes, but unjustified? How can you say that with a straight face. That is one of the least egregious instances over the past decade.
I canât stand those fucks and theyâll get one if they start to step, but there is a small level of necessity for cops to exist. I just donât see how this one is being so blown out of proportion.
Dude, itâs so infuriating. I was listening to NPR and when introduced the story they stated (approximately) âcops responded to gunshots in the area and the bodycam footage shows that the 13 year old while he was putting hands in air the moment he was shotâ
Thatâs it. Didnât even mention that he had a gun. I consider myself more liberal leaning but this story is being entirely misrepresented in the media
Same thing on CBC Radio. It's becoming clearer and clearer that the media is prepping the public to riot this summer. Dramacoin is going to be at an all time high!
Unironically, why do you care what a bunch of redditor a are talking about?
They collect funko dolls and other dumb shi. Most of their hobbies include gaming and smoking pot. Theyâre brain dead drones with no personality. What they think today will change tomorrow based on what they hear in the media.
Redditor are possibly the LCD of the world. They are bottom feeding creatures, slurping up whatever scraps they can get their greasy jizz stained hands on.
Because these idiots (mostly) vote in a block and I hate them for not having an original thought in their head. Iâm just tired of the wokeness becoming so mainstream because I canât stand the soyjaks I have met irl.
You can't shoot someone just because you really want to even if you are a cop. It's not hard to understand. You understand the cops can make the same "split second decision" about you, right? When you justify bad police shootings, you justify shooting cops. They have a gun too, you know.
Most police shootings don't occur because the cop "really wanted to" shoot someone, you dingus. In this case, an active shooter was reported at 3am, the cops came, the actual shooter (a man in his 20s) passed off his gun to the 13-year-old kid, and the kid decided to run down an alley with the gun.
In all of 0.8 seconds, the kid dropped the gun out of view of the cop, and then turned around suddenly to put his hands up. The cop, having seen the gun but not the moment where the kid dropped it, saw him raising his arms and instinctively assumed the kid was going to fire on him.
The real people at fault here, of course, are the shithead who passed off his gun in the first place as well as the kid's parent(s) who let him go hang out with gangbangers at 3am on a Sunday night.
Yeah, a year later. It only got shot down recently.
I'm not an avid church goer and was not raised amongst avid church goers. But if you'd have told me Americans would tolerate churches being shut down for a year without causing a ruckus, I'd have said you had a lot to learn about human nature. Turns out, I was wrong.
There are so many interesting lessons to take away from last year. In some ways it's very exciting.
It takes a while to get to the Supreme Court. But I do get what you mean. That it all happened without mass unrest was surprising. Not just churches but businesses, schools and even just gathering with other people. The part that depressed me is that it happened with the applause of many.
Covid unearthed a lot of shit but I think the worst thing it put on full display was a beaten down and broken spirit within the nation. Or maybe the apparent lost of a common identity.

Oh I'm coping, and seething all right, that I probably will never see the day that ROC liberates China from its communist oppressors.

Don't feel down, Charlie Brown. I think the future looks pretty promising for people like you.

If it's a CCP-led world, I would feel even worse.

That's fair enough. I may have been a bit overly optimistic on that last point.

I support this.

Don't try to bring logic into this.
People don't think logically about identity politics.

Most comments were pointing out what you're pointing out. For once, reddit seems to have its big boy thinking hat on.

do you really think most of them actually vote?
Donât you realize how lazy they are? Lol đ
An absurdly high percentage have anxiety or depression, and they have no idea why.
It couldnât possibly be linked to cranking their ding dong every 5 minutes, smoking weed, playing video games, not exercising.

Ok well then don't explain why the cop really wanted to shoot the kid. At least you seem to understand that murder is wrong.

How long does this go on until people see the h-white nationalist boogeyman as a preferred alternative?
1 Leylinus 2021-04-18
After last year, we have to conclude that the average American is so thoroughly domesticated that they'll tolerate anything.
The book literally has to be rewritten, because a lot of major things (shutting down churches) passed without much of a fight.
1 CosmoSucks 2021-04-18
It went to the supreme court where it was overturned lol
