First of all, who the heck needs an MRI machine on a remote Caribbean island? Some sort of an eccentric billionaire who needs periodic checkups?
Then, why not transport it dry and liquid helium separately and only magnetize it after it's been completely installed at the destination? They have to be able to cold start it (he he) if it quenches anyway, and it seems that a lot of their difficulties were caused by the way it's super fragile when filled up. Smdh next time they'd better ask for the opinion of 🏴☠️drama experts!

I'm sold, if I ever need an MRI machine I know who to go to.
Good read OP.
