Children can still pass the disease along. Actually, kids are great vectors for disease too because they have no notion of personal space and don't like to wash their hands. That's why closing schools was the first thing they did. Having as many people as possible vaccinated won't let us eradicate the disease like we did smallpox, but it can prevent future outbreaks from spiraling out of control again in the future. I think some of his podcasts are interesting and he does get some really good guests.
