Basically how if DDR did this it’s be deemed racist and xenophobic and the media would harp on how DDR hates Indians.

Then people started saying smugly “well that’s because he is racist and the 🇨🇳 travel ban was rooted in xenophobia. Then it turned into talking about all the travel bans implemented in the end of Jan and people then brought up how Nance and DDD called him all kinds of racist, XYZ-phobic, etc for said bans. Then people pointed out about Nance and DDD said he didn’t do enough in response. The people supporting DDR brought receipts from dates of articles and DDR bashers in said thread had to put their foot in their mouth.

One even brought up Nance giving a speech in the end of Feb in SAn Fran 🇨🇳town about how they won’t stand for this then posted a link about her bashing him less than 6 months later for not instituting bans.

Turned into a lot of slap fights in the child comments about how the media was playing people and shit. Was pretty entertaining to read through.

I tried to be as neutral as possible summarizing because I hate how the average political commenter on reddit is always full of shit and have a bias against them.
