The city let the autonomous zone happen. They abandoned all the businesses and people there and let it go to hell. It's the city's fault. It should pay up.
I don't understand where you see the irony in the lawsuit. The city refused to have police present there, the family is saying that contributed to violence, and they are blaming the city for backing off their civic duty of providing safety. I don't understand why you are challenging a nonexistent narrative that people are blaming the cops.
The cops weren't there. That was a problem. The chip shouldn't have fucking existed. It's not on the cops. No one fucking said it was. The cops arent being sued.
Bingo everyone needs to take the spicy pill that is acknowledging police officers are armed representatives of the state they are not community protectors, it is literally not their job. Some liberal cucks think it should be their job and want to reform the police in that view, but that is communism.

This isn't even about the two kids that were executed by CHOP "security forces" while riding around the area in an SUV.
Media hushed that up really well. Last I heard no one was even arrested.

Yeah it is. They mention one dead and the other hospitalized while driving through chop.

They mention those kids at the end, they're not part of this lawsuit.
The line about them is literally that there is no pending civil litigation concerning that killing.

Wasn't it the mayor who forced police to stand down?
At the end of the day I still don't see how it's the cops' fault.

City of Seattle incoming argument: the city and its police force has no real duty to actually protect a person. Cites Supreme Court case.

Ackshually
IS what police officers were in communism. America is already part communist, and chairman Biden is here to complete the transition.
