I've talked about this before but conspiracism has a snowball effect. Once you believe one conspiracy, you're far more likely to believe any conspiracy at all, no matter how absurd or contradictory it might be.

Your average Q boomer probably started out as a normal person, and over time ran off all of their friends/families so they ended up isolated, alone, and paranoid.

At that point they'll believe literally anything because it reaffirms their actions and lets them think losing their friends/families was worth it. They're desperate to believe they'll be vindicated, so they have to believe.
