Lol, that's not the issue. There were some riots, obviously, but by declaring the entire event the "BLM riots" you obscure reality to paint a specific image in a student's mind.

There were riots, there were also tons of peaceful protests (the majority of said protests were in fact peaceful.)

History taught this way is why so much bad history exists, especially in the public school system.
