I think virtual education could be used as a supplement to in-person learning, like having 1 of 5 days being online (this would only really work at higher ages, maybe 16+, since young children are just too r-slurred). But to somehow try and draw the conclusion that virtual learning allows 1 teacher to teach 400 children is just deranged. I have unironically tried to convince people that the most efficient way to do schooling in the modern day would be to develop a single online curriculum that can be completed asynchronously with daily/weekly deadlines for typical classroom work. Then convert current schools into daycares where teachers tutor people who need extra help and ensure everyone is working. Of course everyone so far has been a luddite and says it is the most r-slured education proposal they've heard.

Then I remember not everyone is a terminally online r-slur like me who'd rather teach themselves then listen to a lecture 10 times out of 10.
