Reminder that in red states now it's still perfectly legal to actually teach racism but illegal to discuss the possibility that at any time systemic racism could have ever existed in the country, whether consciously or unconsciously (ie in all cases, this covers all possible categorizations is the state of consciousness of a person's actions and is logically superfluous). It's only racism of a guy goes up and explicitly states "I am doing this because I hate black people because of their skin color" before doing the racist thing, or if a law explicitly mentions skin color. Otherwise we must accept their motivations at face value and assume good faith. Ie, in the Jim Crow South, there were actually precisely zero laws passed on the entire period that explicitly mentioned skin color. This is because the 15th amendment said you couldn't ban black people from voting, so the southern states of course were dutiful and studiously obedient of the law and never once inserted the exact phrase "black people aren't allowed to vote", in any of their laws. Good on them! Only by asserting, unprovable, cultural Marxist theories of systemic racism, or naselessly accusing the actors involved of some unstated, or else "subconscious", racial animus could you poffer such garbage. The fact that in states such as Mississippi the voter roles were usually 99% white in a state that was at points majority black, is superfluous absolutely irrelevant. It wasn't the fault of those poor Mississippians if the era that black people found such difficulty in complying with the law, and to accuse Mississippians of racism based on the inability of blacks to comply with a law that nowhere at any point explicitly mentioned their race, is itself a horrific act of racism.

And luckily these laws utterly prohibit such intellectual hogwash from poisoning the minds of our children.

On second thought, actually, they will not do the above. Instead they will entirely ignore this subject, and just say something like, black people couldn't vote under these old racist laws, good thing we've moved beyond that and no longer hate on people just because of the color of the skin like back in those days. They will just entirely skip over details like the fact that these laws actually did not mention the color of peoples skin, that way they have no need of resorting to forbidden knowledge to explain such uncomfortable facts.

The fact that, again, it's actually still perfectly legal in these states to teach racist history like the "Lost Cause" bs, such as the civil war being "about states rights", or that the Ku Klux Klan was originally established to protect poor confederate widows from ravaging bands of wild freeman (both of which I was at times taught personally by certain teachers growing up in Mississippi in the 2000s), it's also entirely irrelevant. It should remain legal for those teachers to remain in their job and have free speech, that's their right of course. But, as employees of the state, it is natural of course that they should not waste taxpayer dollars indoctrination children with muh critical race theory, and thankfully it is now illegal for them to do so, and I'm sure they will abstain utterly from any temptations on their part that they may have to discuss such concepts or corrupt children with such forbidden knowledge. They will instead continue exposing children to the vibrant tradition of free speech and difficult ideas that make our country, and the great state of Mississippi, also great, and not racist.

Too long. Didn't read.

You didn't miss anything, he outright lied like 15 times.

They keep trying to conflate banning racial discrimination against white kids with banning the teaching of racism.

They can't incoherently tell white kids how genetically awful they are anymore, so they're mad.

You are the one who believes in biological determinism, as you mentioned in an earlier comment today. Critical race theory is not biological, it is about how society reacts to people of a certain race, not about their innate nature. White people are treated well by the law and their needs are attended to obsequiously, whether this is stated explicitly or not. This is an explicit fact, if you ban reality do you honestly think kids aren't going to discover the truth? You are a rightist and a useful idiot, the fascists favorite lib. Liberal moron. There is no discrimination against white men, the fact that you're basically ripping words from the mouth of Donald Trump should cause you deep embarrassment.

You are a yellow brownist, the alliance between liberalism and fascism. Piss and shit, this is your ideology.

Some of the laws are so poorly written that the do end up ban teaching racism. They arent sending their best to state legislatures.

I've yet to see a law that bans teaching about racism.

Every time I've asked someone to show me one they copy paste a bit about banning mandatory diversity training.

You are lying and you know it. These laws are extremely broad and ban teaching that racism is at all possible besides on an autisticly literal level which has never existed in reality. You are a yellow brownist friend of fascism, how good does it feel to blow on these dog whistles and get all these upvotes from fascists, liar?

Suppress the forbidden knowledge with your downvotes!

Wait a minute, this isn't snappy
