I guarantee 99% of Millennials are more familiar with Jareth from Labyrinth than the Thin White Duke. Bump it up to 99.9% for Zoomers, with the addendum that they only even know about Labyrinth via memes.
To them, David Bowie is just one of those artists whose music you're "supposed" to like, and that's all they really care to know about him. And since they're the ones constantly spewing impotent rage online about shit that happened decades ago, if they don't know or care, it's just not gonna get brought up anywhere.
Chris Brown, on the other hand, had a single hit #1 on the R&B charts as recently as last year and beat a woman as recently as last week. So it's something terminally online Millennials and Zoomers are acutely aware of. Which, in turn, means it's a great way for terminally online Millennials and Zoomers to demonstrate that they have the "right" opinion on such controversial subjects as "beating the shit out of women".
That makes sense, what i think is in how traumatising it’d be to live with the experience and because of that i think DV would be below but on a similar level

The good thing about this community, is it’s still based on consent, as no one is fattened against their will. In a way it’s admirable seeing these women do this to themselves, as it shows a real dedication to work against the grain of society and become the sizes they do.
