I can’t help but feel like people like that have had abusive childhoods. It’s the social equivalent of smearing faeces on the walls. Intentionally doing things that are weird and unpleasant for everyone involved just to provoke (justified) negative attention.

If religion was a mental illness it would be considered cool. But neither is cool.

Sometimes a Kurt Cobain makes an album he can't ever top and blows up his own head (cool). But sometimes some angsty dorks engage in eusocial anti-therapy (Twitter, Reddit) thus becoming a swarm of angry stupid melvins (incredibly lame).

In the same vein, there are priests out there breaking celebecy and fucking broads, which is pretty cool clergy behavior. Or consider the dude himself, David Koresh: Made a harem out of his friend's wives, played guitar solos, and stood up to the feds. Say what you want about the man, but that's one religious looney cooler than any reddit atheist.

The ATF is cooler than Koresh. You know they're pinching from the DEA's stash and they take out the most pit bulls of any group. They also make both rightoids and leftoids seethe which is cool af. Also, bullying Koresh into suicide was cool af.
