I genuinely believe that consuming too much rightoid media induces a yet-unnamed mental illness where one loses the ability to be humorous and original.
I would also lose my sense of humor if I consumed a 24/7 media cycle of how everyone who doesnโt think like me is an evil liberal who wants to take my house for โreparationsโ. Or that my lily white cis kids will become pan racial kweer folx because they read books instead of making air conditioners for a living.
The worst thing is it's not just online; they're like this in-person too. You can't crack a joke about interesting without them going full schizo about how "THESE LIBRULS are ruining blah blah blah"
